cdargs software package provides bookmarks and browsing for the cd command, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cdargs
cdargs is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cdargs package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cdargs *
You will get with cdargs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
